Hello!
We are Do Not Wish. While it is necessary to clarify our meaning and messaging, we think we have one that is quite clear and has never been more relevant than now.
An intriguing question that shapes our mantra can be answered with a simple yet layered explanation: “Why?”
🚨This is where we begin chatting about some serious sh*t – if you’re not into that, shop here 🚨
The WHY –
On a larger scale, the far-reaching consequences of textile waste for our planet from the billions of textiles being discarded on a dare we say daily basis, and ending up in landfills, taking valuable space and releasing harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere pose a serious threat to wildlife and human health. Now in recent years, there’s been an awakening and criticism of this textile waste, particularly from the fast fashion niche of the fashion industry; largely due its unsustainable and wasteful practices. It has been quite commendable that we all have had this awakening, but there’s more to do, and we think it’s time for another awakening.
The luxury fashion industry known for its opulence, glamour, and exclusivity is also notorious for its wasteful and unsustainable practices; which have had severe consequences for the environment. From excess packaging, unnecessary shows, and archaic fashion calendars, to overproduction. The luxury fashion industry generates a significant amount of waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. In addition, the use of exotic materials, such as fur and exotic skins, poses a serious threat to wildlife and biodiversity. Furthermore, the carbon footprint of luxury fashion is enormous, with the industry responsible for a significant percentage of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Luxury fashion, with its overproduction and waste, contributes greatly to the climate crisis, with significant economic, social, and environmental effects. As consumers, producers and stakeholders, it is crucial that we make a concerted effort to address these problems through individual and collective action, and prioritize sustainable consumption and production of (luxury) fashion.

To contribute to the ecosystem, we are building a new community, a new mantra, a new philosophy, and most importantly a new way to shop luxury fashion – sustainably.
Welcome to a more sustainable way to shop luxury fashion: sustainable luxury fashion shopping. ♻️ ♻️ ♻️
